Stella-Maria Michelaki was born in Athens and is a graduate of St. Catherine’s British School. She completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in the Czech Republic. After graduation, she was appointed to the Internal Medicine Department of the Psychiatric Hospital of Athens, while simultaneously training in General Surgery at General Hospitals in Athens as well as in Kerala, India. She later worked in the field of Internal Medicine at private hospitals in Athens.

She served as a physician in the Office of the President of the National Public Health Organization (EODY), where she actively participated in planning initiatives and making decisions for managing the COVID-19 pandemic at both national and international levels.

She is currently continuing her specialization in Dermatology–Venereology at “Andreas Syggros” Hospital and conducting her doctoral research at the Dermatology Clinic of “Attikon” University General Hospital.

She is an active member of international clinical studies and contributes scientific presentations and publications at Greek and international conferences in her field.
