Markos Michelakis was born in Chania and raised in Athens. He graduated with honors from the Medical School of the “La Sapienza” University of Rome and served as a physician in the Hellenic Air Force. He then worked as a rural doctor at the Kissamos Health Center and later in the Internal Medicine Department of “A. Fleming” Hospital. He took on the position of Associate Professor at technical vocational high schools (TEL) specializing in paramedical professions.

He obtained his specialty in Dermatology–Venereology at “A. Syngros” Hospital, actively participating in scientific studies and conferences. He worked in the Dermatology Department of “Mitera” Hospital, gaining experience in skin conditions affecting pregnant women, postpartum women, and newborns, while also maintaining a private practice in Marousi. In addition, he took over the Dermatology Department of EDOEAP (the Organization for the Insurance and Healthcare of Journalists and Media Employees).

He remains scientifically active, participating in national and international conferences, with the goal of staying informed and advancing in clinical, aesthetic, and surgical dermatology.
